All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

There isn't really any solid proof that this is actually happening yet but the truth is out there and we'll let you know of any developments.

Heh. Wild speculation without even mentioning that she got pregnant while they were filming the last movie?

My boss's office chair is messed up and keeps sinking on him. I'm trying very hard not to laugh out loud.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

If I were childless I would be volunteering for Obama and the Democratic party, but I know I would opening up mac for ridicule and harrassment and we all know he can not deal. so no bumperstickers or yard signs either.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

You can volunteer in ways that aren't as visible but just as effective, like calling potential voters. I had a friend who did that in 2008. Um, not that I'm trying to push you to volunteer or anything.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Does buzzfeed often have links in its articles that link to the page with the link and the article?

I'm exhausted. Straight up phone conferenced out. Maybe, for the first time, I'll take a lunch hour, at home, in my house.

Manager asked me if I wanted to be on Sunday checkout this weekend. That means monitoring my email at around 9AM for a success or failure email from offshore--it hasn't been failure for a long time, but if it is--round up the troops, ahoy! Given that I have two deployments at midnight, I really don't want to be bracketed with work at both ends. If Sunday checkout goes well, I can totally do it from a hospital bed, but if it doesn't, I'm screwed.

The doctor who needs to refill my prophylactic painkiller (aka the one for which I'll go into withdrawal) is out of town. The nice (ahem) lady seemed to be exploring the idea of me waiting until Monday for a new prescription. No, actually. I run out by noon tomorrow, and I called you first thing Monday asking for the script. Don't *suggest* I only called in yesterday. I gave you time. Find me another doctor, I don't really care how it works. But I do need to get that filled *today*.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I got a call from someone for Obama's campaign asking if I wanted to volunteer. I said yes and was told that a local person would be in touch within the next day. That was a week ago. There is a Dem meet and greet tomorrow night that I'm going to try to go to.

Trust my rage

I got asked to be some sort of poll watching legal adviser. I said yes, but I'm a little scared. Like, I'm not sure at all what is involved, but why not.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

So someone in my neighborhood is putting these Christian fliers (about how the end times are coming) on car windshields. On my car I get one on the front windshield and one on the back--three or four times.

Around the same time this started happening, someone has been putting proselytizing end-times graffiti on buildings in the area and at a local park. At the park, there's graffiti on sidewalks and on some artwork done by children. Yeah, there's this concrete wall in the park where kids can get a section of the wall to paint pictures on it, and at least one has end-times graffiti on it.

The defacement of children's public art bothers me. Should I send a polite email to the address on the flyers I've been getting, asking if they know who is graffitiing the artwork in the park?

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

I don't do desk lunch, because my desk is in the lab, and that's a safety no-no.

Wooh, free wifi in the airport.

And I am virtuously typing up my story (such as it is so far).

Except now I ahve to go get my seat, since Delta only assigns them at the gate. Very annoying.

I wouldn't attach much to expecting positive outcome here. It's not even a dialogue I'd be vaguely interested in firing up.

END TIMES PEOPLE.

What is defacing kids' art in the face of the apocalyose?
