Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I got a call from someone for Obama's campaign asking if I wanted to volunteer. I said yes and was told that a local person would be in touch within the next day. That was a week ago. There is a Dem meet and greet tomorrow night that I'm going to try to go to.

Trust my rage

I got asked to be some sort of poll watching legal adviser. I said yes, but I'm a little scared. Like, I'm not sure at all what is involved, but why not.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

So someone in my neighborhood is putting these Christian fliers (about how the end times are coming) on car windshields. On my car I get one on the front windshield and one on the back--three or four times.

Around the same time this started happening, someone has been putting proselytizing end-times graffiti on buildings in the area and at a local park. At the park, there's graffiti on sidewalks and on some artwork done by children. Yeah, there's this concrete wall in the park where kids can get a section of the wall to paint pictures on it, and at least one has end-times graffiti on it.

The defacement of children's public art bothers me. Should I send a polite email to the address on the flyers I've been getting, asking if they know who is graffitiing the artwork in the park?

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

I don't do desk lunch, because my desk is in the lab, and that's a safety no-no.

Wooh, free wifi in the airport.

And I am virtuously typing up my story (such as it is so far).

Except now I ahve to go get my seat, since Delta only assigns them at the gate. Very annoying.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Should I send a polite email to the address on the flyers I've been getting, asking if they know who is graffitiing the artwork in the park?

I wouldn't attach much to expecting positive outcome here. It's not even a dialogue I'd be vaguely interested in firing up.

END TIMES PEOPLE.

What is defacing kids' art in the face of the apocalyose?

tommy, I would send the flier to the police letting them know they are producing trash in the neighborhood and oh by the way, similar looking graffiti just showed up in the park.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

What msbelle said. Do not engage; just tell the people who deal with deliberate trash and grafitti for a living, and be done with it.

I ordered more office stuff through amazon using our affiliate link. This pleases me to no end, my work purchases helping the board. So yeah, that $1 from today, that is totally me.

Well, I'm hoping I could at least make him aware of people in the community are concerned about the graffiti. (Other people in the neighborhood have complained about the graffiti as well.)

Odds are, that won't make the person stop, but at least they'd be aware others have issue with this.
