I didn't know that either, but apparently they've been together since the early 80s.
I did see it noted this morning that her partner will, of course, not receive any death benefits as an opposite sex spouse would.

Oh, that just took me to a very "ew" place.
I bought my brother a t-shirt from Tee Fury a couple of weeks ago, and when it was delivered (to my house) Tim read the label and was all, "What the hell? Tee FURRY?"
My response? "Dude, they don't wear t-shirts."
I'm going to have to find another area where he can get comfortable driving before having to deal with speed and traffic at the same time.
