Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

My boss is out of town today.

I am not being terribly productive at the moment.

So, how much of an idiot is Tony Robbins?

Nearly Two Dozen Injured at Tony Robbins Seminar - NYTimes.com

Ms. Kaderi was one of nearly two dozen who were injured on Thursday, the first night of Mr. Robbins’s “Unleash the Power Within” seminar, which included a fire walk as a signature experience. She said she did not seek medical attention, but many of those hurt reported second- or third-degree burns, Capt. Reggie Williams of the San Jose Fire Department told The Associated Press.

A lot of victim-blaming here, including some by the victims.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

how much of an idiot is Tony Robbins?

Hasn't he been doing this for forever without many reported injuries? Like, thousands of uninjured people?

He's making mad bank. Idiot's not a word I'd choose.

You have to walk on burning coals. And you have to pay Tony Robbins to do it.

You have to wonder how well the football program is going to do in the next few years anyway, though, in terms of game attendance, etc.

Isn't this where crowds of locals were rioting in protest of Paterno's firing? I think regard for the football program exceeds morals or common sense for a lot more people than the ones responsible for the scandal.

The football program also isn't going to be the powerhouse it was, though, given the restrictions. Which doesn't mean people won't go -- I just wondered.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I made have just pulled something, it is too early for my brain to go there.

It was a valiant effort.

(What, nobody else went to a Music Man place?)

Well now I have.

Yeah, but that doesn't sound like an idiot to me.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Their ability to recruit or retain talent is going to be pretty much in the gutter (as is right and appropriate). That doesn't mean people won't go, for sure. But with no chance for post-season and probably non-competitive teams, I think they'll take a big hit.
