It is 82 right now. After the sun has gone down. I guess I should be happy we are out of the 100's this week and just in the high 90's. Nope, still melting.

It's beautiful outside here, just being on the 4th floor of a brownstone with one window that opens leads to hot hot heat. Also in the winter, when it was good!
Anyone want to be my fan friend mule?
Oh, I'll do it. Heh.
But while we're here, *did* your nipple piercing hurt ... ?
God, I really can't type when I'm tired.
Suzi, I've got you beat last week when it didn't drop below 90 by the time I went to bed at midnight for several nights. But you've got altitude and I have humidity. We don't get much day/night delta.
I was happy that the downstairs only reached 82 on the worst of the days. Bless old houses and modern window ac units. Cause that was just with the 2 upstairs and lots of fans.
sara, there is one in there which is not that good but does, after hours, get the room cold enough. The issue is we can't run her three machines + an air conditioner without blowing a circuit. And in fact, we can't run 2 of her machines and the AC in the living room at the same time either.
Ah. Yay. Midcentury electricity. Though at least in this house we can blend her food without blowing fuses.
I spoiled myself for the end of Gone Girl and I kind of don't care. It was compelling for a bit in the middle and now I don't feel compelled to finish it. Is this a function of reading it on a Nook? I'm so much less tolerant of stupid shit on the nook than in print.
It's not that hot here right now BUT the humidity is at 82% so it is pretty damn disgusting outside.
Hmmm...WRT Tom's link, I don't think the movie would do well enough to compel the reboot. But I'm cynical like that. It seems like Hollywood hot air.
shrift, that sounds awful. We have 50% humidity here now and it's unusual. It rained last night (which put a damper on Occupy LA's Chalk protest).
