Well, other bands know more than three chords. Your professional bands can play up to six, sometimes seven, completely different chords.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Thank goodness, Steph!

I bet it's less hot outside than here in my apartment, so I should probably get out there...

Is this the student-free apartment building, Jesse?

It is! I wouldn't live anywhere they allow undergrads, but this place won't take a guarantor for anyone.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Neither my apartment AC nor our work AC can keep up with the heat. This makes me cranky.

I have to remind myself that many people have it much worse.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I have a tumblr mostly to follow others. But I like it. I am there mostly for pictures of pretty things and pretty men.

Me too. I barely know how to navigate it, and I am resisting learning a new thing. Hell, I'm trying to spend LESS time on the Internet.

Yay for getting a great apartment, Jesse!

Yay for not being outside, Steph!

It's going to top 100degF here this weekend. Again. I cannot deal. I wonder if I can convince my whole family to move to Seattle.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Yay Jesse, sounds like you hit the apartment jackpot!

And yay Steph for NO HEAT STROKE at the reunion!

My head is throbbing and it's making me nauseous. Bleh. I know I have no right to complain about my wussy little headaches, but I hate waking up with one. Oh well. I have coffee and laundry is started.

So it sounds like I need a tumblr account just to follow everybody, right? I am resisting getting dragged down any new avenues, but this conversation makes me realizing I'm missing a lot of good stuff. Uh, so to speak.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

It's going to top 100degF here this weekend. Again. I cannot deal.

Our heat is supposed to break by Monday; I think the high is supposed to be 85 on Monday. And it's amusing that 85 sounds like heaven.

meara - Jul 06, 2012 6:29:06 am PDT #12984 of 30001

It might hit 80 on Sunday according to my weather app forecast. Quick, move here and you can surely steal someone's home while we are all in the malls and movies complaining that 80 is way too hot. (seriously, someone on my fb was bitching that it was still 60 at 11pm and that was too warm. What??)

hip deep in pie

So it sounds like I need a tumblr account just to follow everybody, right?

That's why I signed up. All the tumblr bookmarks were getting unwieldy.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

It's "only" supposed to hit 92 here today, but the humidity is still making me miserable. Tomorrow it's supposed to be 98/feels like 104. CAN I PLEASE GO TO CANADA NOW???

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

YAY apartment.

boo heat, but you know Texas in summer, always hot. Should be 100 here today and we are going to the Rangers game tonight. I want mist machines everywhere, but no, they will not have that. I might get a cool cloth at the drucg store today, just to put on my head.
