I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

YAY apartment.

boo heat, but you know Texas in summer, always hot. Should be 100 here today and we are going to the Rangers game tonight. I want mist machines everywhere, but no, they will not have that. I might get a cool cloth at the drucg store today, just to put on my head.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Wow, we are only supposed to get up to 91 today. That is the lowest temp we have had in a while.

I earned some good karma yesterday... I was getting ready to leave a small, very empty parking lot and when I looked in my rear view mirror I saw a lady crumpled on the ground. I think she had tried to go from the side walk to the parking lot and midjudged the drop. I hopped out and ran over to her. She was older, probably in her 60's, bleeding from the side of her head. I ran into the Honey Baked Ham store to get some napkins and the manager followed me out. The lady had a pretty good cut on the side of her face, near her eye. I gathered her stuff and tried to help her up but she was determined to stand on her own. The manager and I got her cleaned up and bandaided then I drove her to her car. She was so sweet but flustered. I tried to offer to drive her home but she was determined that she was ok to drive.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm not gonna complain about the weather here, because that will just jinx things.

I'm up shit creek at work, because I've reached two walls I can't get over, and my manager is mistaking me asking her for help as me giving her status incompletely. No, I need to know if I'm getting help or not, and then I will send out the status that reflects that. These are critical path items. It's the difference between having a paddle or not whilst we are up said creek of shit.

Unless I've suddenly been empowered to hire people, in which case--excuse me, I'm about to go on a resource spree. All your developers are belong to us.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Crud, ita. Hope things sort out soon and you get a competent developer.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I realize I am obsessed with Glee recently, but it seems to take my mind off the itching- WHY are they acting like Tony, Bernardo and Officer Krupke are the only roles in West Side Story. Riff is a very large role, and the Jets gang has a bunch of singing parts, not to mention Baby John, which is a perfect part for Kurt. There is also Chino and Doc. It is insane that Kurt ended up playing Officer Krupke.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Teppy alert!

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Our heat is supposed to break by Monday; I think the high is supposed to be 85 on Monday. And it's amusing that 85 sounds like heaven.

Here too. Severe thunderstorm on Sunday (no, blessed electricity, don't leave me again!) then temperatures in the 80s all next week! What a relief!

Oh lordy, this brings back memories of going to see my friend Nick (who used to very long ago post with the Pancakers and DebG), who was in law school at the time. I mean, because that's TOTALLY what you think of law students being good at, right? Putting on musicals in their spare time? And then at some point there was Chino, bellowing, and we were trying desperately not to laugh, because we all wanted to be like "I'm CHINO! I'm WEARING CHINOS!"
