Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Huff Po had a slideshow of prominent gay people who've come out and Chaz surprised me, because he's done his fair amount of revealing he's queer, I suppose, but everything I've read portrayed him as straight.

I'm going to choose the belief that transethnicity is a big old joke some people are pulling on Social Justice zealots, because the alternative is unthinkable. And some people really do need poking at (Don't be an SJ Sally, be an SJ ally!---there's an entire meme (what do you call the genre of meme that Fuck Yeah Art Student Owl belongs to, with the clipart in front of the multi coloured background?

Anyway, I just went through pages and pages of someone who'd evidently gone off the deep end trying to poke back at SJ people overdoing it. And, good lord, they took *everything* seriously. Like the people they're trying to rile up.

GODDAMN! I cannot work out where I put my fucking meds.

Let me eat dinner and try and relax and work out what the hell I did...I have the sense memory of opening the bag and dumping the packaging. Maybe if I work out where I tossed that I can work from there....

Oh, on the list of things I don't believe--Miriam Margolyes' daft biddy schtick. She's sitting next to Will.I.am and playing up the doddering-I-don't-know-any-black-people-but-you-sound-cute act, and it is really pretty stupid. Nobody's gran is like that. She's younger than my parents, for fuck's sake. Whose ass has she had her head stuck up her whole life? This isn't great-gran-only-remembers-the-first-war cuteness. She's a grown woman in the public eye who's had every opportunity to be exposed to cultural diversity, or even cultural homogeneity with all those darkies in old Blighty, from before she was born, even.

And now she's cooing that she's a lesbian. Ooh, adorFUCK IT.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I got the motts so badly I couldn't watch it. I tried because Adam Lambert was going to be on and he's amusing as hell but oh, the motts. I deleted it from my dvr. Which is weird because she's usually amusing to me and not uncomfortable and really creepy offensive.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I had no idea what you were talking about. [link] Wow. That's just... wow.

Our wings are not tired.

Just watched the entire ep and although there were a couple of potentially awkward moments, I thought Will.I.am super charming and the show very funny, especially the "like" part.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Chaz has probably spent more time as a public lesbian than a public FTM, though that will change as he moves forward in time.

I got no sense of sincerity from Miriam. Her stories of helping a random man jack off and placing a catcaller's hands on her breasts and the amount of twee ignorance she feigned...I didn't think Will.i.am was a great guest (his stories rambled without punchlines, etc) but at least he wasn't being outrageously faux cutesy like Miriam (not only does she not get a chance to kick it with black people, she can't recognise Prince William). Greg was fine, though. He didn't really seem to be taking her on.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Hey ita (or anyone), you want to send me a favorite Cap picture on Tumblr to post tomorrow? Super patriotic....
