Bambi was the first step towards the apocalypse: [link]
The stupid, it burns.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
At first I was trying to tie Bambi into the trans versus radfem debate and I was totally confused.
That guy's picture clearly indicates he wants to eat my face, no bath salting required.
I need to know why everyone isn't responding to claims of transethnicity by laughing themselves to death. That does appear to be the sanest response.
The tumblrs I was reading were very much stating that there was no such thing as a cis self-defined trans* ally.
If I am not real, can this damn headache also not be real, please? I mean, if Tumblrs are going to re-define me away, my headache can go, too.
And there seems to be an ongoing battle on tumblr between trans* women and radical feminists.
That shit is UGLY. I'm pretty damned feminist, but the shit radfems say about trans* women makes me ashamed to even claim to be a feminist of any stripe. DAMN.
t this has been your Steph-posts-about-trans*-stuff moment for today
I just started a moving to-do list, which included the item "cull misc. crap." Oh dear.
Transethnicity? Srsly??
Chaz is however he wants to identify. Many trans guys who are still attracted to women do ID as straight, because hey, hes a guy who likes girls. Others choose to say queer so as to align themselves more with the larger queer community. Depends on the person--and not something anyone besides him would be able to say.
Bambi was the first step towards the apocalypse:
What I particularly like about the story as that this guy, I assume he's a Christian, apparently thinks that when the Creator goes head to head against a fictional baby deer, GOD LOSES.
That guy's picture clearly indicates he wants to eat my face, no bath salting required.
He's fetishizing death as we speak, there's no doubt about that.
Timelies all!
Happy Birthday Frank!
Back from the con. I'm tired and feeling achy. Bleh.
You make a good point bt. How can someone's belief in God be so vociferous and yet so tenuous?
Two thousand years of Christianity undone by the sympathetic portrayal of one animated deer.
