Happy birthday, Frank!
That is what the midwest needs: salty water and ocean breezes.
Eh, I'm happy enough with fresh water and breezes from really big lakes.

Anderson Cooper is gay???? [link] (just kidding)
I meant, just kidding about the four question marks of shock. He actually is gay.

But seriously, good for him being out and proud.
Anderson Cooper is Ben??
So you're saying Anderson Cooper and gay are somehow related?

EAT A FREAKING SALAD, WHITEY.
(I mean yes, yes they are.)
Muffins are better than salad.
So The Family Zmayhem took a road trip this weekend. On Saturday we drove the four hours from SF to Reno, and celebrated MiL's 70th birthday, and met Matilda's new baby cousin, Amelia Rose.
Stayed at Circus Circus, and did more family time in the morning with lots of facetime with the baby. Emmett and Matilda were vying for most cuddling time with Amelia.
Then back on the road by noon, and we stopped over in Sacramento to see my best-man and one of my oldest friends, Alex, and his wife Kris and their newly adopted son Kai. (Their daughter, India, was away visiting friends, which is too bad as she is only slightly older than Matilda and they have many similar interests.)
So more baby face time though this was a very active almost one year old, and back home again. Kind of road bedraggled after crossing the Sierra twice in two days, but glad to see family and good friends.
Emmett's got an all-star game tonight and his baseball schedule is about to get very heavy through July.
