You two carried me through that war. Now I need you to carry me just a little bit further. If you can.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Haha, DH says four people in his Twitter feed have already quipped that this will make a great episode of The Newsroom in 2014.

omg that is a ridonkulously cute puppy.

Even if the ACA only required insurance companies to take people regardless of pre-existing conditions, it would be worth it. I've heard way too many horror stories on that issue.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

After I defriended a handful of people who came out as Walker supports a few weeks ago, I'm not really worried about my FB page.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I can't tell you how many people I know who want to start their own businesses, but are staying in soul-sucking jobs because they have pre-existing conditions.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Gods, the things I've done employment wise because of Hubby's health . . . He's got Medicaid, but having my insurance cover him has always been essential, to.

Except the individual mandate is needed to avoid adverse selection (as otherwise healthy people would not buy health insurance until they get sick, which goes against the very idea of insurance).
