Kaylee: Can I? Zoe: Sure. He's out, though. Kaylee: He did this for me, once.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

When Lori first described the landing process few years ago, I just started laughing. Then I asked whose 9 year old came up with the design. Cause that's so something we would have come up with in legos around that age.

Going to be one tense mission control room that night.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Ginger, I hope the writing test for that post is to rewrite that job listing.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm a hell of an Americanizer, FTR. In British, it's Americaniser.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I think Jesse gets the job.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I remember the first Rover thing happened around a party I had at my old apartment, and Lori pretty much blew me off for my TV.

However, since she had put together the TV stand, more than completely her prerogative.

A local garden center was having a "Shades of Gay" event today that was rained out. The post on Facebook says, "Apparently drag queens bring rain. I suggest you all get one for your own gardens asap!"

I have an eight am pain management appointment and a seven thirty meeting I can't miss. Crap. I never updated my personal calendar. So dumb.

brillig

The usual Utah summer activity is upon us--the hills are burning. 4000 acres across the lake, ie, 20 miles away, are blazing nicely. The wind has shifted and is bringing the smoke over my house. My lungs hate me for not living in a damper climate.

There have been 400 fires so far in Utah this year. 20 in the last month or so that have been started by target shooters in the scrubland across the lake. But that darned gubmint ain't gonna tell us where we can and cannot exercise our God-given 2nd Amendment rights.
