Tax question (and I am heading out in a few minutes, so I'll be back later in the evening):

Okay, I'm filling out my Schedule C form for my business. Now it says to file it with my 1040; D and I are, of course, filing our personal taxes jointly in the 1040 Long Form.

Does the Schedule C just get added to this personal 1040 form...or is there some other form I need to fill out besides the Schedule C for this annual filing for the 2011 year? I DID send in my Quarter 3 1099 and payment, but NOT my Q4?

(X-post with Business: feel free to comment on board or e-me at profile addy.)

Any thoughts/help much appreciated!

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

So I just posted this:

Apparently I have a job offer. I just met with the person who is my would-be new boss and they are coming after me.

I need (desperately) some sanity 'ma. If I leave, people at my current work are going to be awful for a period of time. If I don't leave, I think I'm going to regret this decisions for the rest of my life.

Wow. I didn't know how I felt about it until I typed it out in black and white! More in Natter.

I've been processing this shit since February and I just need to make a decision and be okay with it.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

le n, I think you should take the new job. Really, really think you should take it.

Because books.

Sounds like the new job is the way to go, le_nubian. Congratulations on the offer!

Punishingly Intricate

Congrats on the offer, le n!! Sorry there has to be any unpleasantness around it. Hope it's the start of a great new chapter in your life.

TAKE THE JOB.

If you know you'll regret not leaving, then leave. The awfulness of the current coworkers will be done with as soon as you're gone.

I dreamed about superheroes last night, which is weird, because I am so not a comics person. But I think all the excitement about The Avengers is getting to me.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

If I leave, people at my current work are going to be awful for a period of time.

That will not be your problem for very long. (And if that's really likely to be the case, fuck 'em.) Go for it!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

If you know you'll regret not leaving, then leave.

This. And congrats, le nubian!!
