Wow, you've really mastered the power of positive giving-up.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Welcome, Monica!

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

orange tabbies are wonderful

Yes, they are. My orange boy is named Jeeves, and he happens to be both very sweet and dumb as a brick.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Let it be made clear, *I* didn't go there. Jesse went there. Bad Jesse. Bad, bad Jesse. Good ita !.

There is established K-I-S-S-I-N-G! Admitted, even! If you think that's bad, it's really been too long....

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Tom, wIll I have to shake my head in disappointment, or find even sterner punishments, if you don't finish?

Um... maybe?

Or maybe I'll just pinkie-swear to get it done so it won't be an issue.

Wait a sec--maybe I should find out what the punishments would be first....

Yeah, we're a modern, open-minded couple.

Because books.

orange tabbies are wonderful

Mine, too, although he's more yellow than orange. He's not dumb, precisely, more incredibly neurotic. If you leave a pair of pants on the floor, for instance, he has to approach it with caution, work his way toward it, and sniff it thoroughly before deciding it's (probably) not a threat.

"Come on, put your back into it. A Watcher scoffs at gravity."

Tom - Good to see you're an observant reader. ;)

And to all the at people, I really want one again! I'm a bit uncertain about where I'll be after January - my lease is up and trying to find a roomie has been horrible - but I would like another little fuzzy thing to come home to. And who can deal swift death to any insect invaders.

Just invoke my feline luck. I got one cat intentionally, when I first moved to Baltimore, before I even got a bed. The other three? Yeah, not my call, they just landed against my protests. I'm a sucker. I blame my parents for the latest (Pumpkin, who my mom named, damn her.)

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

you all seem like fairly awesome people

It's true. Save for the occasional unfairly awesome person.

@tommyrot Maybe if we found a very low, easy to climb tree. :)

Technically, a hollow log would count too.
