Got through the night without a riot. I think everyone here is kind of exhausted at this point. But there will be a hundred thousand new people coming in for the game tomorrow, so who knows what'll happen then.

I'm eating a tuna sandwich! Half of one, to be honest. And slowly. But this is as much solid calories as I've managed all week total.

I know the situations aren't analogous, but during the worst bouts of morning sickness when I was pregnant with Dylan, forcing myself to eat anything, no matter how hard it was to tolerate the smell, always turned out to be a good idea in the end. The nausea that came from an empty stomach was always worse than the nausea that came from eating something.

Yeah, but I live far enough away from campus that my neighborhood will be fine. I decided to give myself a project for this weekend, so I'm going to make empanadas. Just need to go to Wegman's this afternoon to pick up supplies.

It is so funny to see other people talk about Wegman's! I am so used to being the only one here with one.

I love Wegman's! It totally makes up for not having a Whole Foods out here. It doesn't quite make up for not having a Trader Joe's, but it comes close.

I'm thinking about going to the farmers market for lunch tomorrow. It'll be before the game, and I know how to get there while avoiding all the places football people go, and half the people there will be Amish, so I figure it'll be safe. There's a food truck there that has a fabulous veggie burger and had a different flavor of vegan cupcake or muffin each week.
