Do you remember where? I'm asking because all I've read has said that the GA was vague in his conversation with Paterno.
That was S. had read, too, but I don't know where.

Here's all the local newspaper's coverage: [link]
I read somewhere that GA went to his dad and they together went to to Paterno. Not sure where either. In any case, uhg. Should have gone to police. And if they were afraid to, Paterno should have. and right up the food chain, they should have. Cowardice and CYA. No tolerance in my worldview for that. But what can I say, I'm a 911-trigger-happy gal. And somehow..

He called his dad for advice on what to do, and his dad said to talk to Paterno, but the father didn't go with him to that meeting.
Also, reports from downtown say that police are using tear gas. This will not end well.

Paterno has said he was vague. McQueary says he was specific. I'm not sure where I saw it. Just going through Google News.

God, FUCK the students, too, and their ridiculous tiny worldviews. This is not about goddamn FOOTBALL. This is about human beings who were sexually abused but got ignored for years.
I suspect Paterno's statement is quoted in the grand jury presentment, but it has taken 15 minutes or so to download the pdf halfway. But when it does, I will let you know!
It's on page seven, but it's not directly quoted. Since it contradicts the McQueary testimony, I assume it comes from Paterno himself. So, he was told that McQueary witnessed something of a sexual nature with a ten -year-old, which seems to indicate that Paterno, by his own admission, failed at life.
The grand jury report is on the WaPo site, though I don't have a link handy.
The GA also met directly with Schultz and Curley and testified that he was quite explicit about what he saw. The grand jury found him highly credible. Them, not so much.
Skimming the report, because it's ugly, it says the GA
"reported what he had seen" to Paterno. For S and C, it says "witnessed what he believed to be Sandusky having anal sex with a boy" in the showers.
I supposed he could have said something different to Paterno, though clearly he still said it was something sexual. But I don't see why.
sister of one of the victims is having a tough time as a student at Penn State.
I think this is heartbreaking.
