After a morning of dealing with annoying situations, I was reminded who my favorite person is to work with, because he called to ask me about two things in the best possible way.
Also, the lady in the cafeteria gave me extra bacon in my sandwich today.
Suela, don't you have regular project status.meetings where these issues could be addressed?
No, we don't. I will ask my boss to schedule them, because I don't see otherwise how I can get any information out of her. Begging and badgering just doesn't do anything.

Today is wear boots? Okay, I can do that when I go out to run errands. The question is: skeleton feet Doc Martins, or Fluevog babycakes?

The cafe downstairs puts aside a cupcake brownie with fudge icing for me every week so I can get two per week. They've even written my name on it.
Which helps me get past my anger at the towing company that lied to me yesterday and was going to be cheerfully late today and still hasn't come for my car yet, and past the random emotional breakdowns I've had so far. I only have to get through five or so hours at work. That's all. Then I can go home, and ... I dunno. But at least I'll be home.
As for prognosis, we don't know yet. We'll know more next week. Right now we're operating on "mass on scan" and "explains a year of symptoms" and "we're sure that's it".
I know any prognosis is going to make me break down. Just because.
Things that make me happy:
Oh! How could I forget? I have the Family Flea in my city now!
