Where are the good scary movies? It's the month for it! TV can be so disappointing. And I don't think any good horror is even coming out this month in theaters.
My life without Benadryl and ibuprofen would be drippy and painful.
God, yes.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

In some cases, this has been because, since the person was convinced she was supposed to feel horrible, she didn't tell the doctor what was going on or ask for different drugs.
Yeah, that's a problem. Ugh.
MrChuckD is now following you on twitter.
THAT is very impressive! Nice.
Too much benadryl and I get crawly too, Noise. But the dilaudid stops that. And it's better than the Compazine freakout that it stops. It's just a chain of drugs to stomp on the previous one's side effects.
Benadryl does nothing for me.
A coworker told me yesterday that he is allergic to aspirin and ibuprofen. Horrifying. I can't even.
Bodies, man, weird and all unique.
Compazine is the one that gave me crawl out of my skin-itis. It was uncomfortable.
Benadryl is awesome and makes me sleepy.
a thing called defensive pessimism, where people figure out the worst-case scenario, but then make plans to avoid it or deal with it, but it sounds like the kind of thing that's only natural to a certain group of people, and probably hardly any of the other people learn how to do it.
Hey, they're describing Pete!
Mom was allergic to Benadryl. It took a while for her doctors to figure that out. For me, Benadryl makes everything stop itching, knocks me unconscious, and makes it hard to think the next day, which has made dealing with the stress-induced eczema oodles of fun, let me tell you.
ION, which of you evil people mentioned the TJ's pub cheese? I'm trying to convince myself that the tub is not a single serving.
A big dose of Benadryl would probably put me into a coma, I'd be SO unconscious -- can barely keep my eyes open with an OTC dose. I don't suppose it would matter then if my skin was crawly.
Good luck with that. I open that stuff, I assume it's a meal.
Pub cheese, not benadryl.
Compazine is the one that gave me crawl out of my skin-itis.
I had a nurse call it something like "crazy legs". Not all of them know about this possible side effect, so I have to monitor the order and pacing with which they give it to me in combination with the benadryl. But without it, the very specifically strange side effect is the need to flee.
Oddly, when I got home, I'd be okay. I'd just REALLY have to leave the hospital as soon as it kicked in.
