Wow. Grey's has a couple notable guest stars tonight.
I got a lot of space on my trip back home because I woke up every morning at 3, and my father didn't get up before 7. And sometimes I could send him back to bed. The sleep tradeoff was worth it, because the rest of my job was to not have any space. My poor mother. But then the day we told her to call us when she wanted us, she didn't call. So I just called her and told her we were moving in. Because I would have sat there from 8-8 otherwise.
Did I mention my poor mother?
heh. The thing is, my mother goes to bed around 9 or 10, regardless of timezone because she doesn't sleep well. And partially, she goes to bed to read, knowing I've had enough. My dear, darling, CLUELESS father does not. His hours are like mine, but he'll bow to peer pressure. So I have a couple hours to myself.
Love him to death, would defend him to critics, but ooohhh, I must manage him for my sake.
I'm a bit angry at the reduction in prison meals, frankly. Like most things in prison, it greatly affects the poorest inmates disproportionately.
It seems like this country keeps trying to outdo countries like Iran and North Korea in certain areas.
Noah and Grace's soccer picture slayed me.
I got approved on Fleshbot. Under my "real" main name. I was not planning to do that. But I heard they're really lonely and will star anyone that comes by.
It has the same colour scheme as Jezebel. I got confused.
Too many earthquakes!
Shrift and I drove over an hour and a half each way to go to the taco truck in Hanalei today.
Totally worth it.

Yes, this.
Sarameg, the cat you rescued looks adorable!
The NY Post has the tackiest front page today. I just cannot get over it. For those who don't want to see the bloody face (perhaps digitally composed, I don't know) of Khadafy, I'll spare you.
The headline:
"Khadafy killed by Yankee Fan" with subhead "Gunman had more hits than A-Rod" and there is a young man in a Yankee cap holding a gun in a separate smaller photo.
(shaking my head)
That's the Post for you.
In Spoiled Princess news, I miss room service, and a per diem.
TV is fine. None of mine were really interested until two-ish anyway.
Current research suggests that before age 2, a TV is just a big glowy blurry box, so kids will stare at it, but educational programming is a waste of time. 2 is the age by which most kids will actually be able to see the images onscreen.

Yeah, I tried a Baby Einstein DVD with Sara pre- age one, I think, and she had zero interest in it.
