I'm so evil and... skanky. And I think I'm kinda gay.

I don't see how it would be that hard to set up a new list of payees with a new bank.

Exactly! The picture of the customer that accompanies the article, he looked so pissed, and it seemed to imply he was trapped. Really? Because he doesn't want to spend some time setting up online bill pay somewhere else? I thought it was odd. I get not changing banks to avoid a hassle, because that's been me for the past ten years, but now with the fee? I'm pissed, so I'll take that hour or so to move somewhere else.

I've been failing to move over from Chase to my credit union for months now. Having the time to set it up and get EVERYTHING back in place is something I haven't had.

Sure, but you're not trapped. It is an inconvenience for me, too. I just think it will be interesting to see whether people really do just suck up the fee and stay.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

And here's an unrelated article about out actors on TV: [link]

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

His blog post on why now was really heartfelt and made me want to squish his cheeks.

Oh, that made me sniffle. Because while it gets better, it doesn't get a lot better for a lot of people and so wanting to change the world and visibility is a wonderful thing.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

the banks can go fuck themselves. at most I am willing to incur one month's worth of fees and then I'm out.

big banks might feel self-satisfied for a month, but when the customers get their statements and see the fees I think they will bail.

People might not leave all at once, but I bet there will be a stream of people moving their accounts over the next 3-6 months.

November 5th is leave your bank day and bank trolls are spamming the facebook page of this movement every day. Banks are worried.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

You need to see today's Cake Wrecks! The Sunday Sweets this week are all based on Tim Burton films.

Bwweeeeee! I really want a Beetlejuice-inspired cake (or cupcakes!) for my birthday this year. Doubt it's going to happen, but it's nice to dream.

His blog post on why now was really heartfelt and made me want to squish his cheeks.

Oh, that was lovely.
