You never know if a girl's gonna say 'yes', or if she's gonna laugh in your face and pull out your still-beating heart and crush it into the ground with her heel.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

And here's an unrelated article about out actors on TV: [link]

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

His blog post on why now was really heartfelt and made me want to squish his cheeks.

Oh, that made me sniffle. Because while it gets better, it doesn't get a lot better for a lot of people and so wanting to change the world and visibility is a wonderful thing.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

the banks can go fuck themselves. at most I am willing to incur one month's worth of fees and then I'm out.

big banks might feel self-satisfied for a month, but when the customers get their statements and see the fees I think they will bail.

People might not leave all at once, but I bet there will be a stream of people moving their accounts over the next 3-6 months.

November 5th is leave your bank day and bank trolls are spamming the facebook page of this movement every day. Banks are worried.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

You need to see today's Cake Wrecks! The Sunday Sweets this week are all based on Tim Burton films.

Bwweeeeee! I really want a Beetlejuice-inspired cake (or cupcakes!) for my birthday this year. Doubt it's going to happen, but it's nice to dream.

His blog post on why now was really heartfelt and made me want to squish his cheeks.

Oh, that was lovely.

There was a terrible accident in IndyCar at Las Vegas. Fifteen cars. One tarped.

Usually I just hope beyond hope that everyone is okay. This time I am just hoping the driver is alive.

You guys really aren't talking much. What's up?

I HAD NO LAPTOP. Picked up my work one.

Took personal laptop in to the genius bar. It was insane busy. But they got to me. The bad news is that it'll be 3-5 days. But the good news is that it'll be free. As in zip, zero, nada. It's a known thing with the NVIDIA graphics card, and they eat the cost on those. 3-5 days is not bad news in this context.

Got my swim in, and it was good. Finishing laundry. Gonna give myself a manicure (pedicure didn't happen, the place is now closed on Sundays.)

Yeah, and maybe I should eat something today.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I can't Swinton my way between visual genders

I really, really approve of Swinton as a verb. Although, for accuracy, it should be SWINTON.

I think Tim identifies as genderqueer (I should really ask him, huh?), and I, without fail, regardless of how he's dressed/presenting/identifying, always, ALWAYS refer to him as Tim (rather than the name he uses when he's crossdressed). And I feel like an asshole for doing that, but he doesn't ever make any deal out of it. But to me, he's just Tim. Not as in Tim, My Male-Gender-Specific Boyfriend. As in...just the human being who I love. To me, I guess, "Tim" doesn't necessarily equal male.

Hmm. Will have to talk to him about that.
