You're right. He's evil. But you should see him naked. I mean really!

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

ita !, yes, marking essays is A Great and Terrible pain. This is why I always, as an English teacher, kinda wanted to stab other teachers who never had to take papers home to grade -- they could get their little worksheets done during their plan period, whereas grading essay? HOURS AND HOURS AND HOURS of work.

You sound much calmer and in a better place now -- I'm so pleased to hear this. I've been worried about you.

I'm going to go to the grocery store and to get a REAL MASCARA with a little of my garage sale money, make chili, do a little cleaning, and work on writing and editing projects.

Then watch the season premiere of The Walking Dead tonight. An hour and a half long ep -- SQUEEE!

I think I've got Dan on the verge of signing up to the board. He's been catching up on Firefly on my rec, and I'll be all "Oh, Allyson got to sit in the cockpit. Ita moom is named after ita !"

We watched American Horror Story (liking it!) and I'm like "Tim Minear helped us bring Nilly to the US from Israel." "Allyson's roommate wrote this ep of Nikita."

Plus, he loves you anyway, because Buffista wedding presents bought us our TV.

I know a lot of 'Ffistas don't want spouses on (DON'T CROSS THE STREAMS!) but Dan is SUCH a Buffista, and I've never posted anything on here I wouldn't want him to know.

I'ma work on him some more. MWAHAHAHAHA. ONE OF US...

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Aww, yay, did we see this? Zachary Quinto comes out

Oh, good for him. It's got to be hard, having so many people speculate on your sexuality, and to finally be able to say "Fuck it, I'm gay, suck it, bitches."

Er, maybe I phrases that a little weird, in context. But you know what I mean.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh yay!

not your mom's socks.

Skimmed 784 posts, but phew I did it.

I am all headspun from the past week, which was an incredible workshop. And the pogo-stick plane ride on the tiny 9-seater didn't help (Sparky, they sat me at the rear of the plane so they could put the big people up front and make takeoff in 40kt gusts easier. Predictable results). One of the things I've been tasked with is to get off my bum and go to a couple of cons. Philcon is an obvious choice, and Readercon (though I'll need to pack an empty bag for books) - I'm requesting suggestions from the hivemind.

If there's any available, I'd like to ask for some good-news~ma for unspecified reasons, and some healthy-ladyparts~ma for my return visit to the boobnazi tomorrow.

Also, hi peoples - I missed you.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Go him! I mean, it was just "casual" and not the entire point and it'd be nice if more people finally felt like they can do it all and that they could do it that way.

Yeah, it doesn't always need to be the point of the interview! Like for straight people, shit.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

She says to start off every evaluation with a positive.

how about "you have a strong point of view" or "There are a lot of wonderful ideas here"

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

His blog post on why now was really heartfelt and made me want to squish his cheeks.

I often think I'm doing genderqueer wrong due to never really having had any angst over it, despite it being one of those concepts where I was like, "Oh! There's a WORD for me!" when I discovered it. Partly because, really, it's all about my brain, which is disconnected from my body, and the body's just set dressing (I often feel like I'm cosplaying a human), so other than irritation that I can't Swinton my way between visual genders without making an effort, I ain't bovvered. And partly because, shit, people can't get my name right most of the time, so I give no fucks about pronouns.

I don't see how it would be that hard to set up a new list of payees with a new bank.

Exactly! The picture of the customer that accompanies the article, he looked so pissed, and it seemed to imply he was trapped. Really? Because he doesn't want to spend some time setting up online bill pay somewhere else? I thought it was odd. I get not changing banks to avoid a hassle, because that's been me for the past ten years, but now with the fee? I'm pissed, so I'll take that hour or so to move somewhere else.
