Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

smonster, yay! Is that the movie Mark is working on?

Hey, feel free to give a heads up up if your production is jamming up the works in the CBD around the time I go pick up Tom (anywhere from 5:00-7:00). Man, them Hollywood trucks give me the road rage!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I went to funeral for a 55 year old woman today who left behind a husband and an 18 year old daughter. I wasn't close to her; she was a friend of my in-laws, but it was still so sad. She was only diagnosed with cancer a couple of weeks ago. Fuck cancer!

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I'm watching Joey/Pacey clips on YouTube. It's oddly soothing. t edit Except for the plot-necessary intrusions by Dawson. The Big Giant Forehead is not soothing at all.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Only a couple of weeks ago? God, that's unbearably brutal. I'm so very sorry. And fuck cancer.

I'm reminded tonight that this community is a necessary gift to many of us.

sumi, my uncle had a similar experience and diagnosis. Bottom line for him was that he has to be really careful about his food and meds, and he was on coumadin to begin with, which REALLY didn't help (except with his heart condition. Bleed out or die of heart attack? GREAT choice.) Also, the second it happens again, straight to the ER.

Art Crawl!!!

Looks like I'm going to be here 'til at least Noon. Had my liquid breakfast: cream of wheat w/salt and honey, tea w/milk & honey, & beef broth for more protein. The choices are limited. And I'm pretty tired of them.

Have they given you dietary restrictions for after you get home?

Yes, it had spread to her lungs and she stopped breathing one day and couldn't be revived.
