Sigh. Money is stressing me out a lot right now.
Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I can tell you, she will be passed out by 2pm.
Hmm. Guess we better start early then.
The vet's office indicated it was more expensive to get her spayed because she was in heat. I'm not sure why that makes it more expensive.
Increased blood flow to the uterus equals increased difficulty of surgery and of potential problems both during and after the procedure. Some vets do charge more for the procedure, some do not.
How are your brother and E doing, askye? (Besides bro being sick.)
Man, by the time Rex passed us (about noon or so? Zulu starts at like 8:30am) we were just ready to collapse from the weight of the whole weekend/parade season.
That said, KREWE DE VIEUX THIS WEEKEND!!!!
Sigh. Money is stressing me out a lot right now.
I am very sorry, my love. I know how that feels. Go snorgle a kitten. It helps.
Thanks for the info Andi.
I think she's pretty much out of heat, so tomorrow I'm going to get the application off and hopefully I can get her fixed before she goes into heat again. The application has to be filled out in triplicate (it looks like no copying, it all has to be hand written) and they need some forms. But, plus side, a decision has to be made within 1 week.
I am soooooo jealous of Nora having Vortex-time. I used to have Vortex-time. Now I've got to get on a plane, and we have to do more than a phone call's worth of planning.
(Not to make light of the reason for the Vortex-time, Nora. I'm sorry your dad is not having the best of it right now.)
For the online ASL class I'm taking, I'm supposed to attend two Deaf events and then make a video of myself signing about it. The closest Deaf events around here are near Harrisburg, which is a two and a half hour drive. (The instructor of the course also tried searching for nearby Deaf events, and that's all she found, too.) I said that I can't attend one of them for the assignment due this week. She said OK, and gave me an alternate assignment, but said that I should plan ahead for the second event, and maybe bring someone along if it would make me feel more comfortable. It actually would (I'm really not so good at walking into a room of strangers), but I don't think I know anybody who I can ask to drive five hours round trip with me to go to an event where they don't know the language.
OK. I need to breathe. Stressing about this Deaf event thing is making me too wound up to do any of the things I need to do today. (Today I need to: grade written homework, write quiz, set up online homework, prep lesson plan, and do ASL quiz.)
