Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

{{{Aims}}} Tons of decision making ~ma. I don't know if you're looking for advice so feel free to tell me to just shut up. But I'd say take another job if they offer it to you just to stay in the school system. It will make you seem flexible and just having them continue to see your face every day may help you when you are looking for a teaching job.

I found out today that TCG's health plan through work is no longer going to be available to us in a few months, so we have to pick a new one. We'll still have a plan of some sort, so I shouldn't complain, but worrying about coverage is not something I deal with well considering all the doctors I have to deal with.

IhouseN, the seller's agent contacted us to tell us there should be a response to the offer by tomorrow morning.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

OK, I am clearly a strange person, because I went to get the mail and saw I had my W-2s finally, and went "woohoo! I'ma do my taxes tonight!" ...and then realized that's not really a "woohoo". Except I expect to get money back!!

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Who wants to see my new clothes?

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Hello, my darlings.

Lots of ~ma, sj. All digits metaphorically crossed for you and TCG!! And good luck with new insurance, blecch. Such a pain in the ass.

I hope you feel better soon, askye.

I'm cooking this semi-experimental collard/andouille/cornbread casserole thing, I hope it doesn't suck.

So tomorrow, because clearly I'm on a roll at work, I'm going to talk to the drama llama about yelling at my crew and the volunteers in general. And then I'm going to talk to the safety/compliance officer about a sexual harassment situation I just found out about. NO PROBLEM. I'm listening to a dharma talk on mindful speech and trying to figure out what is true and helpful in these situations.

There's a free meditation every day at five pm on my way home - it lasts about an hour, but you can come and go as you like. I went today for the first time and just stayed for fifteen minutes; I'm going to try and go a few times a week to cleanse my mental palate on the way home. It's Kundalini based, so there's a mantra and a whole bunch of woo woo shit, but I just need the structure and the guidance. If the woo woo vibration shit works, so much the better.

Love those dresses, Dana!

I was excited about doing mine, but then I realized I have four W-2s and have to file in two states, and now I'm kind of dreading it. I hope I get a refund, though, I sure as shit can use it.

Thrive to spite them

smonster I'm kind of in your situation. Except Florida doesn't have income tax, so I only have to file for 1 state...but that's 3 forms.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

So, took a sojourn to my local (ish) Costco because I needed saline solution. I discovered a lovely surprise -- this Costco sells booze! Not just wine, 'neither -- BOOZE. And gas, but that's less exciting.
