Shit's all sorts of different now.

Is there any way you can take more classes during the layoff, so you could finish school faster, Aimee?

At this point, not really. Maybe in the summer. Unless the layoff continued through fall. If they had let me go when the funding ran out for my job LAST FREAKING JUNE, I could have taken more classes last and this semester and I would have knocked an entire semester off my time in school.

Not Jilli, but when I had an absinthe tasting at a distillery, they served it over ice. We were instructed to wait for the liquid to become cloudy before we drank it.

I would also, probably, get more money from unemployment than I do working full time.

How is that possible? Or is it just becuase you wouldn't be paying health insurance anymore?

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Because I wouldn't be paying $512/month in health insurance.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

You must wait for Jilli's ruling, Laga.

Ahahaha!

Laga, I have some questions before I can give you a ruling. What brand of absinthe is it? How well do you like the flavor of licorice?

Thrive to spite them

Aimee that really sucks.

I'm pretty sure I'm getting sick. After barely seeing Will because he's been sick and busy with work now I'm getting sick. At least I'm not having to miss any work. Yesterday I made a meal plan for the next few days, figured out things to make. This morning I wasn't feeling great, but not bad, by the time I got to the grocery store I had to put stuff back b/c I know I won't cook it if I'm sick.

But Will came over and we had Italian and watched Big Bang Theory (which he still likes more than Community) and now he's gone to Rite Aid to get me cough drops and chocolate.

And Penny seems to be out of heat, at least she wasn't writhing and yowling today. And the vet didn't send the application for the state program, just the information but I found the application online so I have to get that done tomorrow.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Poor Penny. I know it's temporary, but I always felt such empathy for Cosmo; the pathetic meyowling and writhing was just so wince-inducing.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Aims, that sucks. What a crappy decision to have to make.

I am going out tonight. With actual humans. It's my niece's 28th birthday and she's got a bunch of people together to take a limo to go bowling (because that's how she rolls, yo) and she asked me to come with. I liked the friends of hers I've met before, so I'm hoping I won't feel too much like their chaperone or something.

I couldn't say her name at all because she'd get even more worked up and start throwing herself at me, so to speak. I really thought she was done, but when Will came over she flopped down and wiggled and meowed.

I guess she gave up on Dean and me giving her any kind of relief.
