I'm a little on edge after Maddie, I still feel like I let her down and should have taken her to the vet sooner
I mentioned it specifically because I truly don't think this is an emergency and because I know it must be really hard after losing Maddie. You do need to call the vet and make an appointment for Dean, yes. But calling in the morning and setting up an appointment for sometime this week *is* taking good care of him.
His head was down and stretched out but he wasn't making a wheezing sound, more like a dry cough.
If the cough is his only symptom, I'm with Cass - it does not sound like an emergency to me. How are his appetite (for food and water), energy level, sleeping habits, grooming? What does his breathing sound like when he is not coughing? If as per usual, that tends to indicate a less intense problem that can easily wait for regular office hours. If you have seen changes in those factors in the last few days, then it might be worth checking to see if your regular vet's office answering service can page someone to ask if it is more serious than we suspect.
Askye, the way I have mint, I have my credit card in there too, so it tells me all the credit card charges are negative money, and when I pay the bill it just transfers from my bank account.
Um. ND and I may adopt two tiny gray littermate kitten brothers.
Kitten siblings are the BEST THING EVER. They keep each other company when there are no hoomans around to stalk and egg each other on to newer and more hysterical hijinks. I can't wait to hear how Seamus deals with not being the kitten of the house.
Good luck, Pix and ND! Nothing like watching two kittens play together.
Kitten siblings are the BEST THING EVER.
So true. We got kitten sibs when I was a kid, and they were fabulously funny and sweet together.
Kitten brothers! The best thing ever. A wise decision.
My old man kitten brothers were just scrappin' this morning. But, their scraps are always short lived and they have provided me (and now Bob) with thousands of hours of entertainment.
