I am seriously proud of myself for not pointing out to him that he has done neither.
Hee!
Stephanie! I've been thinking about you and the out-of-school thing. Hope that's all cleared up.
Chi! So nice to "see" you.
I did dishes this morning. We are Very Excited. It's been a couple of weeks since I had the energy to do that much. I'm celebrating by not doing anything else until it's time to go to Kara's cello concert tonight.
Poor little klutzy girl. Her teacher, to her dad, on conference night, "It figures that Kara would choose an instrument bigger than she is". She was given a 3/4 cello, but when she broke it for the second time, was given a 1/2 sized one. She hasn't broken it and we have our fingers crossed. The insurance is supposed to cover everything, but she broke it so badly the last time (it completely came apart), that they aren't sure they'll fix it again. It doesn't help that the store is an hour away by bus and not open on the only days Greg's off work.
Other friends advised me it was because he had always wanted more with me and once he was involved he moved on.
I had that happen to me, except he gave me a big "It's your fault I can't talk to you anymore" speech before he cut me off. I was fucking wounded, but I needed it spelt out for me that it wasn't my fault, and any guy who suddenly can't hang with you because he has a girlfriend (who's a mutual friend) was either looking at the friendship differently from you, or the girlfriend is exercising some leverage. Because I couldn't have told him more often that I didn't want to sleep with him (or anyone). I was adamant about that.
Laura, I cannot imagine the stress you're going through with your son. You're incredibly philosophical and reasonable about the whole thing, and I can't imagine being all that in that scenario. Go you, and here's to him pulling his head out of his nether regions sooner rather than later.
Ouch, Kara. Somewhere my sister is twitching and doesn't know why.
I want to take Hil's class and fail it just so she can have the opportunity to send that email.
I know! She "just bumped it" on a door. I don't know how a cello comes apart from a bump!
Perhaps - Your grade is correct, do the math, oh that's right, you can't do the math, hence your sucky grade.
Laura wins.
Oh, the tattoos. It'll happen, though probably not how he thinks.
Oh, and HI DEENA!!! It's so nice to have you pop in now and again, and I'm so glad you're feeling a bit better.
Have fun at the concert tonight! It sounds like a good day.
Thanks, guys! I'm listening to Christmas music on Pandora. Greg's home until noon, but he's napping. It will be my turn when he gets up.
