I don't give half a hump if you're innocent or not. So where does that put you?

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired.

Speaking of rum, last night was the Pompano Beach boat parade. Yes, on Sunday night apparently to not compete with the Saturday night parade in Fort Lauderdale. Anyway, the important part of this event was sitting on the deck with my family drinking egg nog with rum watching the boats go by. We didn't participate because they require boat insurance; maybe next year.

My neighbors had their chairs up on the roof to watch, but it seemed a better plan to enjoy the egg nog and boats without ladders being in the mix.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Shir, having just gotten out of a bad landlord situation, I hate that you have to put up with that bullshit. Find out what the laws are protecting tenants, if any, and put everything in writing.

Back is hurting again. Oy.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

{{{Matt and beth}} I am so sorry.

{{Pix and ND}} You both were very lucky to have Byron and he was very lucky to have y'all. Peace and love to you all.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I went to look at two houses today with our real estate agent. Nothing good. It's amazing how they can make crap sound good. It's also amazing how much they want for crap. Now, I an going to do as much Christmas shopping as possible and then look at more houses tonight.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Shir, next time she asks for rent, give her the same excuse - hey we paid LAST month, and now you want us to pay again? What do you mean, it's in the contract - it's expensive and we already did it.

I laughed, so you were helpful.

Anyhow, things are under control. In the thing which is my life, that is. landlord's beyond crazy, and "remembered" telling us things about the flat only after we entered. Really, whatever. We can move before the end of the contract, as long as we get someone else to live there instead of us. Which is doable, I think.

I less happy news: mom now feels pressure and around her eye. MRI will happen as soon as possible.
