Zoe: Uh huh. River, honey? He's putting the hair away now. River: It'll still be there... waiting.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

le nub is wise. It may even be wise to say that there will probably be more on the topic later, but that for now you simply wanted to make sure that people knew.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Remember, though, that you don't owe anyone an explanation, except those nearest and dearest you've already talked to.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yeah and I would expect some nastiness regardless. But you'll need to get it out there eventually anyway so might as well greet it head on and with dignity from the get go.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Liese is right. that's also the reason why I believe in letting one bomb drop at a time. Because of the aforementioned "nastiness", you won't feel great at all the responses to the divorce.

I don't think you want to treble that with baby disclosure just yet. At least *I* wouldn't.

You may be a bolder, braver person than I am.

Here's hoping your FB followers are better than the average bunch.

Our wings are not tired.

Here's hoping your FB followers are better than the average bunch.

And you know what? If they aren't? Drop 'em. Times like this is when you find out who is worth including in your lfe, and who isn't.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I like the way you think.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Word to what javachik and le nubian said.

I was exhausted and then started reading, and finished the damn book, and now I've missed my falling-asleep window. Foo. Hope the next one comes soon. It felt good to disappear into a book, though, it was a hectic day with more to come.

Can I just say that Nora and Tom saved my ass, once again? They graciously let me come do an emergency load of laundry at their house on no notice whatsoever, since it was too late to go to my laundromat, and finish my slides there. And even tolerated my exclamations of frustration over formatting, and read over my slides to make sure they didn't totally suck. I think I owe y'all a nice dinner somewhere, Nora.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Have I mentioned that smonster in New Orleans with Nora and Tom warms my heart like homemade hot cocoa? The kind where you heat up the milk, and mix cocoa with sugar, and slowly add the milk... not the instant packets.

Me too. How are you doing, Windsparrow? How is Daniel feeling?

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

And you know what? If they aren't? Drop 'em. Times like this is when you find out who is worth including in your lfe, and who isn't.

That's the truth, right there.
