Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

And you know what? If they aren't? Drop 'em. Times like this is when you find out who is worth including in your lfe, and who isn't.

That's the truth, right there.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Me too. How are you doing, Windsparrow? How is Daniel feeling?

He is still in a lot of pain. And the pain medications make his speech kind of slurred, so it's hard to hold conversations with him. He's losing time - often cannot keep track of what day it is. And he keeps telling me he is so sick of being stuck there. He said yesterday that the doctors told him they were "optimistic". Neither of us really knows what the hell that means.

I don't even really know how to say how I really feel - the closest thing is exhaustion, bone deep but not on a truly physical level.

move out and draw fire

~ma for everyone who needs it, including but not necessarily limited to Nora and Nora's friends, Stephanie, and Andi and Daniel.

So...I just got a friend request on FB from Gus Raley (hi Gus, if you are lurking). Anyone else?

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Much love and energy and healing vibes for you and Daniel, Andi. I've been thinking about y'all a lot.

Mmm, cocoa. That's a lovely thing to say, and I totally agree.

So. I got two blocks before realizing that I have another flat. One of my dog park buddies happened to walk by and helped me change it, so that's good. But my check engine light came on, which may mean that the IMA battery has finally sent up a deterioration code. Yay, except that I only have 10 miles left on my warranty.

Anyway, that's fun. I didnt need this today, in our busiest time at work, but it is what it is and I'll deal with it. Just needed to vent for a second. Someone from work is going to pick me up at the dealer.

So, I got nothing yesterday because I looked at my list, freaked out, and stopped dealing for the day. Today I am up, with my new, more manageable list, and I am trying to get the first thing done on my list (Britrail pass, yay!) and the website will not let me check out. I'm trying not to take this as a sign for the rest of the day.

I hope you can get your battery replaced under the warranty smonster. Tricksy batteries. They KNOW.

I'm at that place where I have six days' worth of work and personal stuff to do in two days before I leave for my trip. It always happens this way. Or maybe better people are better.
