Reavers ain't men. Or they forgot how to be. Now they're just nothing. They got out to the edge of the galaxy, to that place of nothing, and that's what they became.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

There is snow in the forecast for today.

ETA: it is making me hate everyone. Not on the level of a breakup or losing a beloved pet or having wayyyy too many responsibilities. But.. I just need winter to be over.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

I often think "I hate the world." It's not my default setting, but if people are being stupid, they deserve a little of my hate.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I... might need to wallow today. Ugh. I guess I should have wallowed more yesterday instead of trying to push through? I hate to miss two days in a row but it's a new pay period... I just need to ovary up and notify boss and coworkers.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

My students have their final exam today. So I've got to proctor that, then sort the scantrons, then tomorrow, pick up the computer printout of the grades and figure out semester grades and enter them, then deal with the student who email me wanting higher grades, and then the semester will be done.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Many hugs to you, smonster

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

smonster, damn, I'm so sorry. Take care of yourself. *hugs*

And Pix, hugs to you too, though I think you might need a time turner more! I hope things ease up for you soon.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

(((((Smonster)))) Take good care of yourself. I know that hate the world feeling well.

Pix, that is definitely a lot on your plate. Best of luck.

Busy day today. Errands with Mom, volunteering at the library, and now babysitting. I have successfully convinced G to change the TV from from Team Umi Zoomy to The Backyardigans.

G is in bed, though he isn't very happy about it.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Feeling so much better, I think staying home was totally the right call. I slept for another 3 hours, then got up and chatted with roommates, did more budget and fundraiser stuff, picked up flyers and more donations, and went to the farmer's market. I cooked dinner for my coworker and myself (roasted chicken, sauteed greens, and a salad) and she just left a bit ago. There was definitely white wine going on and I am now into my tube of cookie dough, hallelu.

Definitely back to work tomorrow, and then I have to decide if I'm going to work Friday to make up some hours. I probably should, otherwise it'd be my third 30-hr week in a row and that is PAINFUL to the budget.

Thanks for all the virtual hugs, I appreciate it.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Glad you had a better day, smonster.

Tom and I are trying to fix the office up so it's a comfortable place to work for when I start working from home in a few months. This has involved going through many chaotic piles of paper and throwing most of it away. Very liberating! But also exhausting.
