Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

meara, that is a super tough decision, and I don't really have wisdom to offer. I wish you discernment!! I'm watching my own biological clock wind down with a mixture of emotions.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yup, at 37, mine is just about done, and while we are childless by choice, that decision and its results are still hard ones to deal with at any stage.

However, if I am done with my uterus, I would like it to stop causing me increasingly debilitating pain at increasingly frequent intervals.

Yeah! "Hey, freeloader! Knock it off!"

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

There definitely should be some kind of uterus/fertility exchange program, so those of us who don't need ours could send it to people who do.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Steph, your blue elephant is listed on eBay for over a hundred bucks. Just sayin'. Not that I was looking for blue elephants...it just...appeared.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I'll be damned. That is the same statue. Tim's has some serious cracks, though.

It's "distressed."

Thrive to spite them

meara I'm going to echo what people said about finding out if you might have fertility issues.

I'm not having kids but was surprised to find out my Fallopian tubes were defective when I had my tubal done.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I have wondered about my fertility to begin with. I spent five years drinking water that was tainted by uranium mines on the reservation. The infertility rate for teen Navajo girls is much higher in my area than the surrounding populations. But I don't know if I had fertility problems from that if it would just surface as not having kids, or if I'd likely have other, more visible, health problems.

I've wondered about my fertility too. There have been enough times that I could have gotten pregnant and it never happened. My mom and my sister both had trouble conceiving. I figure it wasn't likely to happen even if I wanted it, so it's just as well I didn't.
