Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Yorkies can be astonishingly stubborn, just so you know. Incredibly sweet, and awesome dogs, but stubborn.

Good to know.

My landlord basically said maybe about getting the two dogs. She's worried that the older one will develop incontinence, and wants to know how I plan to protect the carpets.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Do you know that most people in "developing" countries use their phones for Internet access? I read that somewhere and I at once was astounded and understood it.

And use their phone for banking. And paying for vending machine items, from what I hear. Haven't witnessed it myself.

Trust my rage

Personally, I don't think you can protect carpets. Even really well trained dogs get sick at times. I do have a hot steamer that seems to work the best of anything I've ever had. That, plus Nature's Miracle.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Personally, I don't think you can protect carpets.

But you can offer a carpet deposit. Plus a professional carpet cleaning.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Ugh. I have gotten back into my workout regimen, mostly because I'm tired of picking clothes based on what isn't tight on my stomach.

I powerwalked on the treadmill, and decided to finish with the last 10 minutes on the elliptical. It about killed me, had to go into my "rage mix" to power through.

But do you want to live twenty more years if you're filled with rage?

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Maria has posted. Still feels awful but fever has broken. In case I was not the only one who worried.

Thanks, Typo.

Never fear, had she not posted, I would have harangued her via phone and email, and had that not worked, gotten her local friends to check on her (I made note of who did a supply run for her. I GOOD STALKER!)

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Do you know that most people in "developing" countries use their phones for Internet access? I read that somewhere and I at once was astounded and understood it.

Some places went from no phones to cell phones, skipping over land-lines just about entirely. Towers are easier to build and maintain in isolated than systems of wires.

I want to know what this is, I really do.
