Might be time to invest in a better bed. Makes a huge difference in how you sleep especially with your achey body parts.
Oh. my. goodness. Once I went to a super soft bed with both a feather bed (cabbaged from an inn I managed years ago) AND a wool topper a friend gave me, ALL my back pain disappeared.
Now, my bed is my favorite place on earth. Seriously.
Because it deserves its own post...STEPH!
Erhmergerd, Congergerlertions!!
I am so, incredibly happy and excited for you.
I couldn't be a convincing Hulk to marry you, but I can pull off a passable Edna Mode.
It's not practical, of course, but I would be so honored to stand for the two of you.
Did I say I was happy for you? Because I am.
So I haven't seen my therapist in a bit, I was supposed to see her last week (and saw her 2 weeks before that) but I think she's been sick. I need to call tomorrow to try and figure out about rescheduling. I think I'm either getting hypomanic or having extreme anxiety. I really need some objective opinion on this. I see my shrink next Tuesday so I'll see what he says then.
When mattress shopping, I lay on each one for 10-15 minutes, like they recommend. On the Tempurpedic, I could feel my body realigning and popping back into place. One day, it will be mine. Or whatever even more awesome thing they dream up.
Nora, I hope the Z-pack works quickly for you and the Pearls fend off any unpleasant side effects.
I've done the dishes, written my daily log for work, and updated my timesheet. I wanted to update my budget software tonight, but that will have to wait. Time for shower and heating pad, time to turn away from the seductive internet. And keep my fingers crossed that the Heels keep their lead over Duke on the Devils' home turf.
eta x-post with askye - wishing you calm~ma and a quick appointment.
Thanks, everyone. While nothing exceedingly horrible is wrong, my life is hanging so much, if it were a computer, I'd be wanting to close all tabs and reboot right now.(Although the book is getting better...it's just, well, everything else. Because I don't get to backspace out most of it.)
And if Social Security doesn't stop jerking me around, I don't even...
Now the sleepy meds are kicking in so I'm hyper and sleepy, hopefully this means I'll go to bed soon
smonster - sleep well -- my reaction when not getting enough sleep is 1) to kill everyone that is interfering with sleep 2) think the entire world is incredibly stupid and 3) think everything is a problem. So not getting enough sleep - yeah that could be a big reason for not being able to get up and deal .
best of luck to everyone - it feels like it has been a hard winter . Glad we have some bright spots
not messing with beth. uh uh.
I hope this morning's better for you, smonster. Chronic pain and a bad bed can make even a full night's sleep less than restorative.
Sj, remember to 'fridge the beer!
