They are adorable dogs, but tend to be VERY high energy and need to run and be active a lot or they can get destructive. They are a pretty smart breed, which can be cool, but it means that they can get bored easily and they can be a handful unless well trained.

Thanks. One of my friends, who's a vet, mentioned that too. I'll meet this dog and talk to the people at the shelter and find out more about her. If it doesn't seem like she's the right dog for me, then I'll wait for a different one.
