I just... no. I know where this anxiety is coming from. And I know it will dissipate. I will not feel like this forever, but right now, it's front and center.

FB was not letting me comment, Maria. Otherwise I would have said how futilemwords are, but that I believe you are rising the waves of grief as they come. That is all anyone can do. There is nothing else for it. Whether a therapist might be of use to you at this time or not, I am behind you.
Well, sometimes it helps to have a place where the relationship is designed so they listen to your stuff, although it is true that a disconcerting number of people who say that aren't so much considering your happiness so much as pointing out "Gee, you're fucked up!" and halfway hoping there's some kind of ointment that you might get for it without inconveniencing them. That said, I believe there is hardly a person alive that couldn't benefit from a few sessions.

I have a question for the hivemind, actually. A friend of mine is in deep financial hell. The family belongings have been in storage as her family has tried to regain their feet, but they are behind enough that the storage company is going to put their stuff up for auction next week.
Would filing for bankrupcy immediate help stop that? At least until the bankrupcy is worked out? How long is that process?
