It's been snowing on and off all day. Enough to make the roads bad. Tomorrow it's supposed to be too warm for snow - rain is forecast for tomorrow and Wednesday. Wednesday high is forecast for 47! Except 70% chance of rain, so no real chance to go outside and enjoy the warm weather.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
How can bad Biscuit be so dang cute?
I know! He was so joyful! "I had such a great time while you were gone! I saw all my friends! And smell my awesome smells, I totally visited the horses and possibly some elk! And ok, you didn't come home quite exactly when I thought you were going to, so I'm a little colder than I expected to be! But you're home now, so let's play! Or go inside, yeah, let's go inside!" And he put up with me toweling him off and washing his feet with the foot washing mug and then trotted straight to the woodstove all, okay, make this hotter now! So I did. I mean, how could I turn down that soggy face?
I couldn't punish him, of course, it was too long ago, and he came back, which is what he's supposed to do. There was a delivery, so I hope it happened earlier and he didn't harangue the delivery man. But honestly, if the door blew open, I can hardly blame him! Now he's fed and very sleepy.
A grand day out for Biscuit. Glad he is home and warming up.
It is snowing here. Threw CJ in the car so he could drive with the big fat flakes coming down. They didn't last long but we are supposed to get more overnight.
Aww, what a charmer that Biscuit is.
I have to say that as soon as I lay down I started feeling better.
I was sleepy too, apparently. We lay down and I totally zonked out.
Biscuit! Silly boy. Frankie goes walkabout when he has the chance and comes back grinning (thankfully I usually figure it out pretty quickly, and block the hole in the fence again).
sumi, I hope you feel better soon.
So on the book of faces, I just corrected one anarchist acquaintance who posted that bullshit Hitler quote and then another conservative acquaintance who was ranting about Obama lying about taxes not going up. Hit him, quite calmly, with facts and cites from wsj, new yorker, and forbes. His response? FUCK ALL THE POLITICIANS!!! Um, yay?
I think that's enough tilting at windmills for the evening. I am kind of marveling at my ability to keep calm and refute on. Especially since I'm still in the throes of a panic attack.
Lots of hairpats and hugs and ~ma for sj, sumi, Teppy, and smonster.
There was a colonoscopy prep going on at work yesterday. Poor tiny person being expected to guzzle a half gallon of Gatorade & Glycolax in a short span of time. No wonder it just stopped going down. Also, we JUST got that carpet cleaned.
Today, I lazed about. I deserve it.
I have antibiotics*, and the nurse practitioner agreed that coming in after 17 days was a good idea. She said that you don't have to have a head full of snot for it to be a sinus infection, but suggested I use the neti pot twice a day (instead of once a day, which I had been doing), to see if that helps get anything moving that might be stuck in my sinuses (GROSS). She also recommended sudafed, mucinex, and ibuprofen. So I am loaded with drugs right now. I feel like a poor imitation of Hunter Thompson.
*(I am really not happy about taking antibiotics yet again -- in the past 8 months, this is probably my 5th or 6th round of antibiotics [the rest, IIRC, were for my stupid dental saga]. I really hate disrupting my good bacteria, and I loathe the idea that I'm contributing to antibiotic-resistant superbacteria. But I also don't want an infection hanging out so close to my brain, so antibiotics it is.)
I *despise* the colonoscopy prep.
