Teppy. Call the doctor, they may be able to prescribe something like nasonex to help.
Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
bonny, your "unexpected expense" reminded me of when I backed into a guy's bumper and we decided to keep insurance out of it. Everyone kept saying they were sure he was going to pocket the money and not bother to fix the bumper, so he fixed first, and I reimbursed him according to his receipt. I think you're right that you should be a responsible pet-owner, but you shouldn't have to pay for a professional cleaning if he doesn't actually do it.
Mucho ~ma, sj!
Good luck with your head, Steph!
Gronk. 4 hours later and I'm finally home. We had bloodwork today and I need to set up the rest of the tests when my cycle starts. I also have to see a nutritionist due to my BMI in order for my insurance to be happy. So I called my PCP to set that up, called my insurance to find me a therapist, and while I was at it made an appointment to have my car inspected. That is enough being a grown up today.
You've accomplished more before Noon (Pacific) than most people do all day!
Sounds like you've earned a cuppa and bit of a sit-down-with-your-feet-up.

Yeah. They can't prove that Cagney was the only perpetrator. Then again, neither can I.
I will step up, but I am also going to talk to them about prevention. Just because I think it will make me feel better.
And, though it will be inconvenient, I will never walk Cagney past that shop again! It's next door to the children's consignment shop we spend a lot of time in, but it will now be worth my while to go the loooong way.
Well- I seem to be another flu shot recipient who has come down with the flu. Went home sick from work after developing fevery/muscle achey type symptoms . It feels good to be horizontal
That is enough being a grown up today.
I should say! I hope they have a good plan for you going forward. I had to see a nutritionist for both pregnancies because of the gestational diabetes. It was actually helpful in planning my meals during that time when I wanted to be more careful.
Ugh, quick recovery wishes, Sumi. And health ~ma to the other sicko Bitches as well.
sumi, feel better.
Laura, I have seen a nutritionist before, and I didn't find it really helpful. So, we will see. At least he didn't say I had to lose a bunch of weight before getting pregnant, which I was worried about. The doctor did say that the chances of successful invitro (if it comes to that) are lowered when the mother is overweight.
The weather channel is telling me we're getting a 1/2 of snow, but we already have a 1/2 inch and it is still coming down hard.
You must have got our first half inch! We were supposed to have accumulation by now, but it's really just coming down and immediately melting. It is seriously coming down, though. I definitely think we'll get our 5-8 inches overnight if it keeps it up like this.
I wanted to go into town when I got home from the rez, but I don't see that happening. Plus with the SO sick, I'm not sure that the thing I need the supplies for is actually going to happen.
Anyway, so I got home today, and the Biscuit, completely sodden and muddy, was happily waiting for me, loose, on our front step. WTF! I guess he took advantage of the SO being knocked out on drugs to go on walkabout. He shouldn't have been able to get out, but when it's super windy, our back door can open on its own. I thought I had it deadbolted but I guess not. And it was obviously super windy while I was gone, because I came home and our trash can was knocked over, and the bird feeding station was moved to the east about a foot.
Anyway, he's okay, but was very very dirty and is still pretty sodden. But I stoked up the fire, and we are now, the both of us, cuddled in front of it, drying off. The SO is still asleep, so I don't even know if he realizes the dog was out! I'm super glad he's sleeping, though, because it's the first time I've heard him sleep for any protracted amount of time in days.
So! Adventures for everyone!
