Hmmm, if there were no convictions, then why is all that info (including mug shots) out there? Couldn't people sue for that? I know I sure as hell would if I were charged and cleared.

He has convictions or he wouldn't be flagged via Megan's Law; I don't believe him for a flat second. I'm so sorry Omnis. I do think you need to take some steps to protect yourself though. He has stayed with you--you may be liable if you don't report him. He is also a handyman; I would change your locks.

Note the wording. If they don't want to pay the fees, or if they don't have adequate security for the jurisdiction, for example, a search is going to come back clean.
