[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Noodle pudding is great. Is this one sweet or savory only?

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Assuming we don't stew the Noodle kitty, what's a noodle pudding?

Also "noodle" no longer looks like a word, it's become letter soup.

Our wings are not tired.

Sweet for sure. This is the first time I have made it. Noodles baked with cream cheese, sour cream, cottage cheese, eggs & sugar. Then topping of graham cracker and sugar crumbs. Butter in filling and topping too. Mmmmm, noodles, Mmmmm, cheese, Mmmmm butter, Mmmmmmm sugar. Not much to not like. I thought of ita ! when I was crumbling the graham cracker topping.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

We bought three tiny unfinished wooden sets of drawers years ago at Michael's, and for Christmas, H sanded, stained, finished them, and lined the bottoms of the drawers with green felt cut to fit. The two matching ones now sit on the back corners of my dresser (the good, solid wood one we got at Goodwill in that '30s sprayed-on thick "mahogany" finish, and stripped, stained pale maple and used for years as a baby dresser/changing table, and then for dining room storage), with the urn-shaped miniature lamps that use candle bulbs, and have the aged, browned paper shades, one printed with evergreen needles, the other with ferns. It looks meant to be. The odd-sized set of drawers is on my desk, where it will keep oddments out of sight.

H hasn't found what he wants for Christmas present yet, but when he does, it shall be his.

~ma for all travelers.

P-C, how wonderful about your mom's change of behavior. It's really difficult, raising parents sometimes.

I need to dive into my bedroom closet. We need to clear it back to the walls, relocate the shelf standards from an outside wall to the inside wall, and rehang the shelves. They're coated wire, which I hate, but we may not be able to afford replacing them, in which case I need to cut and tape cardboard to fit over them so I can slide baskets and boxes without snagging, and stuff doesn't fall through. When that wall o' shelves is done I can load everything back in, sorting and arranging as I go so I can *find stuff* when I need it.

But not today.

That sounds good. I'm not (having not eaten it) convinced about the noodles but shoe leather cooked like that would be delicious.

Whew!! Have arrived in Seattle, having taking one of the four airline flights I actually booked. But am ever so glad I didn't get stuck in Indy. Eesh. They did end up canceling bunches of flights, so if I hant gotten out yesterday, I'd still be there.

Of course, now I'm really wishing I'd taken tomorrow and/or Friday or Monday off...

Noodle pudding is delicious. Don't know how to spell it, but among Jews it is call Lucshen Koogle, and it is delicious. No crust needed or topping needed. And leave out the sugar, and put in a little salt and butter and you have delicious savory noodle pudding. The noodles add flavor and texture. egg noodles normally in my family.
