I don't know how to explain the exhaustion and general psychological ache of trying not to be overwhelmed by other people's default assumptions of what and how you are when you just want to be you
This.
but most other people are white/straight/sexual/cis/American/Christian/dominant and the disregard for your individuality is like an undertow that's pulling you out further and further from shore.
And with this one, it's not even just Christian people. I once had a rather bizarre conversation with an atheist, where he was insisting that I should celebrate Christmas. After questioning him about it a little bit, I figured out that his justification for why he can celebrate Christmas is "It's a totally secular holiday, not Christian at all, so if I celebrate it, I'm not doing anything remotely related to Christianity," and the fact that I didn't celebrate it specifically because of its connection to Christianity was screwing with his worldview.

Hi Deena!! Good to see your pixels. That is a lovely doll.
I'm on a more even keel today, thankfully. It is what it is.
I just got a call from the temp agency I was working with when I had to stop working. She was asking how I was doing and also said that an office I worked for requested me.
We talked for a bit and she said when I was ready to go back to work she would be able to find some very temp (like just a few days) assignments for me.
Which just made my day.
That's great news, askye!
so glad the social security interview is over! And I didn't get a suspicious interviewer this time.
I still don't know if I will definitely get it or how big it is--I'm just glad we're done.
Deena!
smonster, insent.
askye, that is great news. She obviously really liked you. I'm glad she is going to be able to help.
erika! Yay for the interview being over. Continued outcome~ma to you.
I'm feeling much better today. My anxiety is subsiding and my stomach is sort of behaving. Mom is here today, and I managed to get a ton of cleaning and organizing done. The builder is coming tomorrow to finally finish up one last job, and I didn't want him to see what a mess this place has been.

Yes, yes he does. And by Clovis needing it, I think I mean ME, for my desk.
Deena! Hi hi hi! It's nice to see your font.
