That's great news, askye!

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
so glad the social security interview is over! And I didn't get a suspicious interviewer this time. I still don't know if I will definitely get it or how big it is--I'm just glad we're done.
Deena!
smonster, insent.
askye, that is great news. She obviously really liked you. I'm glad she is going to be able to help.
erika! Yay for the interview being over. Continued outcome~ma to you.
I'm feeling much better today. My anxiety is subsiding and my stomach is sort of behaving. Mom is here today, and I managed to get a ton of cleaning and organizing done. The builder is coming tomorrow to finally finish up one last job, and I didn't want him to see what a mess this place has been.
skimming along, nodding my head. Just wanted to say, Clovis needs this: [link]
Yes, yes he does. And by Clovis needing it, I think I mean ME, for my desk.
Deena! Hi hi hi! It's nice to see your font.
I am on a break from purging my shoes and clothes.
How do I not own any black pumps or flats???
t is boggled
Continued ~ma, erika. May the fickle lords of SS look kindly upon your request.
So, steam + glass + cold air = cracked glass, in case any of you were wondering. #carpenter problems
Hopefully you don't have to go the lawyer route, erika. Though once Hubby got a lawyer the process went quickly. Then again, the case documents and medical statements ran to five legal boxes and the summary was three inches thick, and our lawyer told the judge "Should we go through the summary page by page, so you're clear on my client's status?", the judge was willing to acknowledge that Hubby had a good claim.
I don't really think it should be a big deal, but neither is it going to be the Willy Wonka golden ticket my father thinks it is. Every time I talk to him, the amount of money I don't have because(by his standards, anyway) I didn't "get on it" fast enough gets bigger and bigger. (although there should be a nice initial windfall, so I'm not complaining, exactly...that'll be nice. Maybe I'll buy some edits, fix some things around the house...good things. Not quite diamond-shoe things, though. He is kind of like Suela's mom when he gets thoughts in his head...argh.)
Some blog friends of mine have a 3-year-old son who is battling leukemia. They found a bone marrow match a couple of months ago and the donor is having surgery today to harvest marrow for him. She is 24 and lives in the US and that is all the info they have on her. I've been teary all morning thinking about this hero and what a truly wonderful gift she is giving to a complete stranger. Sometimes people don't suck, you know? Also, some ~ma for her and little C would be much appreciated. Please let this be a successful match.
Wow, Glamcookie, sending lots of good thoughts her way, and his!
