Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

There's techniques and tools that allow me to move full kegs, smonster. I'd be happy to talk to you about them - barback work is hard, but it can be super-profitable. Biggest thing is being able to anticipate what the bartender needs and then get it done fast.

juliana, I'd love to have more info. Maybe we can find a time to talk on the phone or chat? Would love to also just catch up!

To further complicate matters, my friend M called today about some sidework that would likely start in the middle of December. But she's got to get some stuff together before we can start, and it's weather-dependent, and and and... That would be done by, like, 4 in the afternoon on Saturday, so I could still maybe work a night shift. But that might be getting in over my head.

(not because it's a bad song, the Bing/Bowie version is one of my fav xmas songs!... just... the song gets played a LOT)

Oh, I think it's a terrible song. I heard about the "game" on fb, and had already lost a few days later - we chose to listen to an all Xmas station at work and I heard it twice in one day.

askye, that is so crazy! It's a friend of a fb friend of mine, that's where I got the post from. And I was wondering because E has such an unusual name, but I thought it couldn't possible be the same one. He is a total cutie. I love the capes, wish I had the dosh to chip in and get a cape for myself.

I hate that song. I'd rather hear Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer.

Teppy is possessed of an evil spirit.

Because I don't like Little Drummer Boy? Or because I'd rather hear Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer?

To be clear, I *don't* like Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer. It's just that in the DINAO version of Little Drummer Boy vs. Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer, I would choose the latter.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

It's just that in the DINAO version of Little Drummer Boy vs. Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer, I would choose the latter.

Because nothing says "Season's Greetings" like DINAO.

Thrive to spite them

I am jealous because his other aunt gets to see him more often but Mom swears when he does pretend play he includes me in it and he talks about me more.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Because nothing says "Season's Greetings" like DINAO.

Sums up my holiday feels quite well.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

There are multiple decent versions of Little Drummer Boy including Joan Jett's, and one by the Hoodoo Gurus.

Not to mention the Harry Simeone Choir's version (LP sold exclusively at Texaco Stations).

Our wings are not tired.

Little Drummer Boy has always been my favorite Carol. I love the message very much and find the song very soothing.

Do any of you live near a Pier 1? I honest to god have to AVOID that store (all locations) from mid-Nov to the new year. Their holiday music is the absolute most annoying, loud, intrusive "Christmas' music that ever tortured shoppers anywhere. I even called their customer service last year after I was trying to spend a gift certificate and couldn't stand the horrible crap over the speakers and simply left the store. It's ALL auto-tuned shit sung by American Idol rejects.
