Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

The main question I have: does the retreat involve "trust exercises?"

Next: if the retreat is more than 3 hours - WHY?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Ours usually last a day or two.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

WHAT THE FUCK.

oh stop it. you are telling stories.

I barely last through an 8 hour retreat. If there was a day 2 I would lose my entire shit.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Sounds like Ryan has "fifth disease"

I don't think it was that. Seems one of the key symptoms is red cheeks, and he didn't have that (that was one of the things the nurse checked for when diagnosing). He was sick over the weekend with a cold and a fever, they seem to think the viral infection got onto his skin (apparently they do that).

Anyway, it didn't bother him at all (not even itchy) and they're disappearing now, so it's all good.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

My RA staff retreats in college were super fun.

I was gonna say! I really enjoyed my RA staff retreat before the school year that I was an RA. But then RA's were generally a fairly cool bunch to start with.

Yeah, there's nothing like two full days with people you don't like and can't trust.

Thrive to spite them

I'm thinking about cutting my hair short, I'm really tired of having it the same way and I don't want to grow it long.

So I'm thinking about something like : this [link] , or this [link] , or this [link] , or even [link]

Except none of the exciting colors. I'd like too I'm just not sure I want to commit to that.

I think you could rock all of those looks. You've had short hair before and it looks good on you. Your features are balanced and symmetrical (as my friend the artist used to say) and so you don't need a particular length to balance it.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

OK, I have a little birthday money to spend, and I am thinking about these.

I have flat, faux-Frye boots, which I love, but...these are sexay!

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Heh. I see the judge's ruling now. "You want it to be one way. But it's the other way."

Wait, billytea and Trudy were in this conversation and there was no "And risk getting pregnant?!?!" I am disappointed in both of you.

Though I do spend a lot of time wondering how my hair looks and plotting to kill folks...

Who here doesn't?

Today was a long day.
