Our ER put TVs in the room a couple of years ago. It makes the Endless Wait for Possible Cardiac Enzymes at 3 AM much more bearable.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Ugh Nora, I hope he gets treated soon. Much ~ma to you and Tom.
Doctor came in and disappeared again. We'll see what happens next.
so you don't have to set bones right away anymore? am I still living in the 70s?
If it's a break, I think it'll be more like a hairline fracture. They just gave him a couple Vicodin and wheeled him to get xrays done. He's in a shitload of pain though, whatever the hell it is. Poor guy.
Le n, depends on if it needs to be set. When I broke my arm a few years ago, it was not out of place, just broken. No setting needed. They made me wear a splint for a couple days before getting a cast, to make sure it didn't swell inside a cast and like, cut off circulation, or un-swell (?) and then the cast would be too big. but like I said--that was a break that didn't need to be set. I think if it's that kind of bad break they probably do want to move it back to the right spot sooner rather than later.
Oh no, Nora!! I'm so sorry Tom is hurting. And I'm also sorry that your ER experience was no better than the one we had a few months ago.
So much ~ma for Tom and Nora. I'm so sorry you're having a such an awful ER visit, and I hope no bones are broken.
Can I have some more ~ma for my cousin? The baby is doing great, but she is having some difficulties post delivery.
My cousin's baby link. The picture is friends only, so let me know if you want me to friend you on flickr.
