Le n, depends on if it needs to be set. When I broke my arm a few years ago, it was not out of place, just broken. No setting needed. They made me wear a splint for a couple days before getting a cast, to make sure it didn't swell inside a cast and like, cut off circulation, or un-swell (?) and then the cast would be too big. but like I said--that was a break that didn't need to be set. I think if it's that kind of bad break they probably do want to move it back to the right spot sooner rather than later.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Oh no, Nora!! I'm so sorry Tom is hurting. And I'm also sorry that your ER experience was no better than the one we had a few months ago.
So much ~ma for Tom and Nora. I'm so sorry you're having a such an awful ER visit, and I hope no bones are broken.
Can I have some more ~ma for my cousin? The baby is doing great, but she is having some difficulties post delivery.
My cousin's baby link. The picture is friends only, so let me know if you want me to friend you on flickr.
Diagnosis: broken arm, or more technically, fractured radial head (which is a misleading phrase for broken arm!)
He's got a splint, which is a bit more hardcore than I thought it would be. He's following up with an orthopedic surgeon right now, who he's supposed to see in 2-3 days, I imagine to look at it after any swelling's gone down and work out the proper rehabilitation of the arm.
We got out of the ER at around 2:30am and I'm home with Tom today.
I'm mostly just glad it's his arm that's broke and not his noggin.
Yikes, Nora. Quick healing~ma to Tom. I hope you both can get some rest today.
Thanks, sj- ~ma to your cousin, and to you and TCG too.
Ugh, lots of ~ma for Tom!
sj, aw, that's one adorable baby. I hope your cousin is feeling better soon.
Sean, I really hope you're able to go to your friend's funeral. Continued love being beamed in your direction.
Ack, I just sneezed and somehow hurt my throat. And I'm also starting to get sniffly. Damn you, daycare crud!
Thanks, Nora. Apparently she is doing much better and may get to go home tomorrow. We are a family of worriers. Either way I am going down to Rhode Island to see her and meet my new "niece".
Tonight I am meeting up with a friend that currently lives in England and meeting her little 5 month old girl for the first time. She was pregnant when we visited on our honeymoon.
So, it's a very baby filled week, but I am feeling much better today.
