Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

So not down with male GYNs. *shudder*

I really don't care one way or the other.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

My male OBGYN was awesome. I wish he was in MA instead of RI.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

I prefer female GYNs. When a man is down there, I want it to be a lot more fun.

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

I prefer my male GYN to my female GP doing a pelvic exam. He's way better at it, because, specialist! Also, I take advantage of the fact that women prefer female GYNs on the whole, so he's the easiest doc in the practice to get an appointment with.

"already on the kiss-cam with Karl Marx"-

Have had both. One of each that were excellent, and one of each that I wouldn't go back to.

hip deep in pie

My one experience with a male doctor doing a pelvic was with a resident. I don't think he was all that familiar with the equipment. (Mine or the speculum.) It was really uncomfortable and painful and his supervising doctor had to step in and insert the speculum. I felt horrible afterwards.

For some reason, I made another appointment for my well woman checkup with a resident this week. It was a woman, but again, there was lots of adjusting going on. It wasn't painful but, the more she had to adjust, the more tense I got.

I think I have been spoiled by my own GP who does it all so easily. I never feel a thing.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Men docs women docs lady bits boobies--whatevs. Whoever makes it so that I hurt less and die later with the least amount of tears--that's mostly my goal.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I'm never thrilled with someone checking out my magical ladyparts (Tim excepted, but he ain't a doctor), so I really don't think a male OB/GYN would make me any more uncomfortable than my female OB/GYN.

Because books.

Once I had Jake, there could have been linebackers down there and I wouldn't have cared. That said, I've found women's hands to be generally smaller and therefore a little more comfortable, but all three kids were delivered by guys, and I was really comfortable with all of them.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Off of work. I have errands, and cleaning and stuff to do, but I really just want a nap first. But if I nap, I may not get back up during business hours. Oh, life, so complicated.
