Angel: You know, I killed my actual dad. It was one of the first things I did when I became a vampire. Wesley: I hardly see how that's the same situation. Angel: Yeah. I didn't really think that one through.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I am home from camping and EXHAUSTED. It was, as I told Debet, a 98% awesome trip for me. 1% of the not-awesome was EMeline being afraid of the latrines and the spiders contained therein and holding it for a whole day resulting in a UTI and me having to take her to go potty ever 20ish minutes from about 11pm last night to about 2am this morning. Funny thing about that girl? Won't use the latrine, but had no problem going outside, getting half naked and squatting by a tree all by herself in the dark. Crazy girl.

The other 1% was the WRATH OF GOD storm we got last night that resulted in a massive tree crashing down about 40 feet from our cabin and blocking the road to said latrine. I had a lot of ppeppe dancing girls by the time we got to breakfast this morning.

But overall, it was awesome. My girls had a really great time and I can't wait to go again!

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

It's a thought, Typo, but light tends to keep me up. Maybe I could find a baseball game on the radio, though. I don't know the game well enough to follow it without visuals, so it would be mostly white noise.

I'm glad camping went well for you and Em (mostly), Aims. Peeing by a tree is a useful skill for deep-wilderness camping.

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

Oh shit, Calli. Want some Lorazepam? I'm right next door, and happy to provide. I know how much insomnia sucks. And then stress about insomnia causing more insomnia. And so on, and so on...

Thanks, amyth. The 'pams kinda scare me, but if I can't kick it tonight I may well take you up on it.

These are tiny pams (.5 mg). But I hear you. I wish you sleep tonight!

Tiny pams. I love it. It's going to be my new saying, I think.

"I'm not having a good coping day. I think I shall have one of my tiny pams."

Awww. I picture myself downing one with a drink from my tiny liqueur glass and nodding off over the Tiny Book of Tiny Stories.

I may have achieved "spacey."

Thank you, amyth.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Nerves regenerate at a rate of a mm/day or an inch/month. So, for short distances, they can often re-bridge the gap.

So much for the doctor who told me the severed nerves in my feet wouldn't grow back. From surgery. And of course they did. Still have some numbness, but doesn't interfere with function.

bonny, FFS, you waited a day to pry it loose?! Girl, I would have been in the ER at light speed. Yes, arriving before the injury even happened.

Buffistas have the most *interesting* injuries. smonster, stop it with the interesting injuries.

I am a big fan of the tiny pams, myself.

Bitches - I am having a moment of uncertainty of shallow, but epic proportions, nonetheless. I posted in Natter about meeting Tom Felton. But guess who else is going to be there? Our very own James Marsters.

t bites nails about which money to spend where for my birthday

All in all, a nice conundrum.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Yeah, especially since I was recently told by a friend that the chirping noise I hear at night all the time here is rats.

The chirping could be [jillifonted] a camel spider which would be much worse.

(One of Emmett's supervisors at the camp where he was a baseball counselor was an Iraq veteran with an horrific scar on his back and a totally nightmare inducing story behind it.)
