Nerves regenerate at a rate of a mm/day or an inch/month. So, for short distances, they can often re-bridge the gap.
So much for the doctor who told me the severed nerves in my feet wouldn't grow back. From surgery. And of course they did. Still have some numbness, but doesn't interfere with function.
bonny, FFS, you waited a day to pry it loose?! Girl, I would have been in the ER at light speed. Yes, arriving before the injury even happened.
Buffistas have the most *interesting* injuries. smonster, stop it with the interesting injuries.
I am a big fan of the tiny pams, myself.
Bitches - I am having a moment of uncertainty of shallow, but epic proportions, nonetheless. I posted in Natter about meeting Tom Felton. But guess who else is going to be there? Our very own James Marsters.
t bites nails about which money to spend where for my birthday
All in all, a nice conundrum.
Yeah, especially since I was recently told by a friend that the chirping noise I hear at night all the time here is rats.
The chirping could be [jillifonted]
a camel spider
which would be much worse.
(One of Emmett's supervisors at the camp where he was a baseball counselor was an Iraq veteran with an horrific scar on his back and a totally nightmare inducing story behind it.)
For some reason, I am picture Tiny Pams as in True Blood Pam, with her not-tiny attitude.

I am going to do my best to stick to boring old "no, I have no idea how I got this bruise."
Dialect note: my boss, who is from Baton Rouge IIRC, repeatedly said he was going to "jump off my car" instead of "jump my car." Don't know if that's just an error he makes, or a thing. My other coworker says he's going to "go to the bathrooms" and when I commented, claimed that everyone from here says it. Evolved from "les toilettes," maybe? I've also heard "go by" instead of "go to." As in, "I'm going to go by my mama." I should see if I can find a good book on the various dialects here.
Oh what fresh hell is that, David?

Don't search for pictures, okay?
Too late. Did before I was warned.
OH WHAT THE EFFING EFF!
That is a creation of the Devil himself, yo.
Hec, I'll give you the wind scorpions (another name for the same thing don't google) but I"d take most Jillifonts over rats.
